You may have noticed the four income categories in the Cashflow tab while adding an income entry.

Sales- Retail is your income from selling products. If your business involves selling products to customers (e.g Cosmetic Products, RTW clothes, Convenience Stores, etc.), your income from these products should be added as a Sale- Retail in your Cash Flow tab.

Sales- Services is your income from providing services. If your business involves providing services to customers (e.g Legal Services, Event Management, Content Creation, etc.), your income from these services should be added as a Sales- Services in your Cash Flow tab.

Partnership Proceeds is your share in the income of a General Professional Partnership (GPP). GPP is a partnership formed by 2 or more persons for the purpose of exercising their common profession. Examples of a GPP are Architectural, Law, and Accounting Firms.

Other Income is your income that is not part of the normal operation of your business. Examples include income from investments and interest income. Your non-operating income should be added as Other Income in your Cash Flow tab.

Sales- Retail and Services cash flow entries form part of your Sales/Revenues/Receipt/Fees or Total Income/Operating Revenue while partnership proceeds cash flow entries form part of your Partnership Revenue in the pre-submission page of the income tax forms in Taxumo. On the other hand, Other Income forms part of your other Non-Operating Income in the pre-submission page of the income tax forms in Taxumo.
