Here are the FAQs that will help you to choose the correct consultation tier based on your needs.

Which consultation tier is right for me?


Selection depends on your specific stage and the complexity of your problem:

  • Tax Foundation: You are a freelancer, professional or a sole proprietor just starting out and need help with DTI/BIR registration.

  • Compliance Support: You are an active taxpayer needing to fix "Open Cases," transitioning your status as a mixed income earner, maintain ledgers, or transfer RDOs.

  • Strategic Transitions: You are growing—switching to the 8% tax rate, applying for BMBE, or forming a One Person Corporation (OPC).

  • Complex Scenarios: You are dealing with specialized issues like BIR Audits (LOA), Crypto tax, or Business Closures.

What if my concern overlaps multiple tiers?

That’s normal! We recommend booking the tier that reflects the most complex part of your concern. Your tax expert will guide you during the session if the other topics need a separate follow-up.

Does a higher tier mean "better" advice?

Not at all. Every consultation is handled by a qualified expert. Tiers simply reflect the scope, complexity, and preparation required for the topic, not the quality of the professional.

How much does each session cost?

Pricing is transparent and based on the expertise level required for the topic. You can view the specific rates for each tier directly on the Taxumo Consultation Marketplace before you book.

Can I switch tiers after booking?

If you realize you’ve booked the wrong category, please contact customercare@taxumo.com or message us here in the chat before your session starts. We can help adjust your booking, subject to consultant availability.

What should I prepare for my session?

To maximize your time, please have your Certificate of Registration (COR) and any relevant BIR notices or documents ready to share with your CPA.
